Change entails becoming different in a particular way of life. Change is simply a path and an important element of flourishing life. For us to thrive in this world full of evolving challenges, need for change is an inevitable deal. If we are not ready to embrace change then we should be ready to embrace extinction. Change is an imperative aspect of life. As an element to economic, social, political, physical, and spiritual developments of a human being, need for change is vitally necessary.

This is in many ways a wonderful thing. There is strength in weak ties, as the sociologist Mark Granovetter has observed. Our acquaintances—not our friends—are our greatest source of new ideas and information. The Internet lets us exploit the power of these kinds of distant connections with marvellous efficiency. It’s terrific at the diffusion of innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, seamlessly matching up buyers and sellers, and the logistical functions of the dating world. But weak ties seldom lead to high-risk activism.
The kind of activism associated with social media isn’t like this at all. The platforms of social media are built around weak ties. Twitter is a way of following (or being followed by) people you may never have met. Facebook is a tool for efficiently managing your acquaintances, for keeping up with the people you would not otherwise be able to stay in touch with. That’s why you can have a thousand “friends” on Facebook, as you never could in real life.

This first entry was written by Shannon’s daughter, who I have met on many occasions. She “gets it”, as you’ll see in the Essay that she wrote for us. She shares how her Mother is her Hero, and how surrogacy has changed her life.
A ruling for the bakery owner in the so-called “cake case” before the Supreme Court could inflict untold harm on gay people, true religious liberty, and civil rights.
So just remember..if someone is changing, be there for them, offer your their opinion but help them go through whatever they need to go through because they will do what they need to do regardless of the people that they really do love.
