Like Tandler, Erdheim also brought wartime experience with bacteriology, military medicine, and hygiene education into his post-war work. Though affiliated with the University of Vienna, in his early career Erdheim had acquired much clinical and teaching experience before taking the Lainz position. He had been an Aspirant at the department of dermatology and syphilis of the General Hospital, an anatomical demonstrator in St.-Anna-Children’s Hospital in Vienna, and successfully fought a typhus epidemic in Serbia during the Great War. The diversity of his professional work is reflected in publications on rickets, tuberculosis, and scoliosis. (His name appears, alongside the American pathologist and visitor to Lainz, William Chester, in Erdheim-Chester disease, a rare form of macrophage multiplication and expansion.)
His readers will remember an incident from their own childhood when the blogger relates a memory. They might look more closely at the other riders on the train after the blogger describes his impressions of a fellow commuter. They will click back and forth between blogs and analyze each blogger's point of view in a multi-blog conversation, and form their own conclusions on the matter at hand. Reading the views of other ordinary people, they will readily question and evaluate what is being said. Doing this, they may begin a similar journey of self-discovery and intellectual self-reliance.
Certainly, both styles still exist; certainly the particular mixture of links, commentary, and personal observation unique to each individual site has always given each weblog its distinctive voice and personality; and certainly the weblog has always been an infinitely malleable format. But the influx of blogs has changed the definition of weblog from "a list of links with commentary and personal asides" to "a website that is updated frequently, with new material posted at the top of the page." I really wish there were another term to describe the filter-style weblog, one that would easily distinguish it from the blog. On the principle of truth in advertising, this would make it much easier for the adventuresome reader to find the type of weblog he most enjoys.
Erdheim’s road to prominence as a clinician and scientist was typical of his generation. He was one of six children of a mine-owning Jewish family in the eastern province of Galicia (then a part of Austria-Hungary, today part of Poland). His family moved to Vienna during his childhood, in the big wave of Jewish immigration from the east that followed the Austro-Hungarian constitutional reform of 1867. Erdheim graduated from the Vienna Medical School in 1900, then joined the Institute of Pathological Anatomy of the University of Vienna. He trained under Anton Weichselbaum and was later promoted to assistant. He received his teaching license (venia docendi) in 1913 and appointment to extraordinary professorship (Extraordinarus) in 1916.
Think of how your website would be if you and several professional academic writers were working to build a clientele. You would want to make sure every client had a great experience.
According to researchers David and Wei (2008) “evidence seems to suggest that bilingual children’s language development is by and large the same as that of monolingual children”(p.599), meaning these children go through the same process beginning with babbling, followed by one-word sentences and progressing towards a more develop multiword stage.
It is natural that most of the websites offering example papers are not really what they seem to be. Anywhere in the world, people can easily start websites that claim to offer original papers. Some sell prewritten (plagiarized) papers, and others sell papers written in strange/incorrect English. For every ten of these fake essay websites, you might see one real, legitimate one.
Many current weblogs follow this original style. Their editors present links both to little-known corners of the web and to current news articles they feel are worthy of note. Such links are nearly always accompanied by the editor's commentary. An editor with some expertise in a field might demonstrate the accuracy or inaccuracy of a highlighted article or certain facts therein; provide additional facts he feels are pertinent to the issue at hand; or simply add an opinion or differing viewpoint from the one in the piece he has linked. Typically this commentary is characterized by an irreverent, sometimes sarcastic tone. More skillful editors manage to convey all of these things in the sentence or two with which they introduce the link (making them, as pointed out to me, pioneers in the art and craft of ). Indeed, the format of the typical weblog, providing only a very short space in which to write an entry, encourages pithiness on the part of the writer; longer commentary is often given its own space as a separate essay.
A "fake" essay website may have a very simple order form and offer fixed prices that vary based on the deadline you choose. Legitimate websites may offer some services at fixed prices, but the prices vary according to the project details. A trustworthy website will not oversimplify your order. Why? Because writing academic papers is not a simple kind of work.
When real academic writers are building a business based on client satisfaction, they will have an order form that includes many questions and options. They also may invite you to communicate with them in a free consultation. If the website encourages you to provide a lot of information about the requirements, it is a sign that they may actually have real writers who want to do well and earn your trust.
For professional academic writers, a new client is very valuable. They must offer excellent customer service to prove to you that they are educated scholars who speak and write well in English and can follow your instructions. A site with no phone number is not a good choice. A site with elusive customer service is probably a scam. Even if you don't want to talk to them on the phone, you should at least call to see if it is a real number.
Those few, rare websites that offer real custom papers and essays will always be ready to respond to you and discuss your project. The reliability of an essay website is reflected in its Customer Service.
